It is important to note that while in Safe mode, you can only access the apps which came with the device and none of those you installed. However while on Safe mode, you will be able to uninstall any unresponsive 3rd party apps.
Below is the procedure on how to boot your android device into Safe mode:
On the Power button, long press it until the Power option Menu is displayed.Long press the ‘Power Off’ button from the menu to the point it asks whether you want to reboot in safe mode.Click ‘OK’. It automatically reboots.It is equally easy for these android versions as well:
Long press the ‘Power’ button and select to ‘Power Off’ the device. Again long press the power button and then release it once a logo appearing during Boot up is displayed.For the device to boot to Safe mode, hold the ‘Volume Up’ and ‘Volume Down’ buttons and that concludes the process.
